I’m a sucker for a quick, yet polished makeup look! This one was achieved in ten minutes flat!
With fair skin and freckles, it’s always been a struggle to find a great foundation match, but Beautycounter has stepped up to the plate. I live in their Dew Skin tinted moisturizer (shade No. 1) for a dewy, healthy glow that’s perfect for our desert weather!
However, for more coverage I grab the Skin Twin Featherweight Foundation (shades Fair 110 & Fair 150). This product features hyaluronic acid for added hydration and visible plumpness – part foundation/part skincare – I’m here for it! I do set Skin Twin with loose powder, for secure all-day wear.
I can’t live without blush. Once I have foundation on, my fair skin needs some color! Bright, peach or rose tones are my go-to. Currently, I’m rocking Beautycounter’s Satin Powder Blush in Nectar. It’s a versatile peachy hue that I’ve worn to the beach, the office, and to date night! I apply it to the apples of my cheeks in an upward motion toward the tops of my ears and curving up toward my temples for a healthy, natural flush.
Tip: Rock your blush as eyeshadow, too! It’s a low-maintenance way to get a monochromatic look and cut down on the number of products used (especially when traveling!)
If eyes are the windows to the soul, your eyebrows are the frame! As a fair lady with lighter brows, filling them in makes all the difference in the world! I love Beautycounter’s Brilliant Brow Gel and Color Define Brow Pencil in Medium. I grab the gel for a quick, low-maintenance look and the brow pencil for more definition.
I gravitate toward warm eyeshadow colors to make my blue eyes pop! Beautycounter’s Velvet Eyeshadow Palette in Classic is compact, easy to travel with, and can create a variety of looks. In the photo above, I’m wearing ‘Ivory’ all over my lid, then ‘Copper’ on the outer 2/3 of my lid, and finally ‘Sienna’ blended into my crease and along my lower lash line. Just three colors create a dimensional look!
I line my top lash line with Beautycounter’s Precision Liquid Eyeliner and finish with a few coats of Beautycounter’s Volumizing Mascara for extra impact!
I’ve been loving the ease of Beautycounter’s Lip Gloss – simple to apply and reapply while keeping lips hydrated in the desert heat. My favorite shades are: Rosé, Tulip, Fig, and Rosewood. In this photo, I’m rocking the Fig shade. (I also love a bold lip, but that’s a look for another day!)
